This document details Copyright matters pertaining to Vamooz.
Definitions
Vamooz.com ("Vamooz") is an Internet website owned by
4am Design and Technology Labs Pvt. Ltd. ("4am"), with its registered head office at
#35, 2nd Cross, 10th Main, Indiranagar, Bangalore - 560038, India. and is currently located at
http://www.vamooz.com/
The access of Vamooz by any means shall henceforth be referred to as "Use"
Vamooz is designed to help User find information that resides on sites not owned or controlled by 4am. In particular, Vamooz provides brief descriptions of some content to help User identify the content of interest to User. Data files, written text, computer software, music, audio files or other sounds, photographs, videos or other images displayed by Vamooz shall henceforth be called "Content".
Those individuals, companies, or other entities that provide Content shell henceforth be referred to as "Content Providers".
Those individuals, companies, or other entities that Use Vamooz shall henceforth be called "Users".
Claims of Copyright violation by Users or Content Providers
Should we receive an allegation of copyright infringement involving either a User or a Content Provider, our response to these notices may include removing or disabling access to Content claimed to be the subject of infringing activity and/or terminating Users. If we remove or disable access in response to such a notice, we will make a good-faith attempt to contact the owner or administrator of the affected site or Content. We may also document notices of alleged infringement on which we act.
To file a notice of infringement with us, you must provide a written communication (by registered post to the above mentioned address -- not by email, except by prior agreement) that sets forth the items specified below.
To expedite our ability to process your request, please use the following format:

1. Identify in sufficient detail the copyrighted work that you believe has been infringed upon or other information sufficient to specify the copyrighted work being infringed.

2. Identify the material that you claim is infringing the copyrighted work listed in item #1 above.

FOR ANY SEARCH, YOU MUST IDENTIFY EACH SEARCH RESULT THAT DIRECTLY LINKS TO A WEB PAGE THAT ALLEGEDLY CONTAINS INFRINGING MATERIAL. This requires you to provide:

(a) the search query that you used, and

(b) the URL for each allegedly infringing search result.

3. Provide information reasonably sufficient to permit 4am to contact you (email address is preferred).

4. Provide information, if possible, sufficient to permit 4am to notify the owner/administrator of the allegedly infringing webpage or other content (email address is preferred).

5. Include the following statement: "I have a good faith belief that use of the copyrighted materials described above as allegedly infringing is not authorized by the copyright owner, its agent, or the law."

6. Include the following statement: "I swear, under penalty of perjury, that the information in the notification is accurate and that I am the copyright owner or am authorized to act on behalf of the owner of an exclusive right that is allegedly infringed."

7. Sign the paper.

8. Send the written communication to the address mentioned above.
Although the use of Vamooz may not be exclusive to account holders, Vamooz does have account holders or subscribers (Users). In such cases, 4am will, in appropriate circumstances, terminate repeat infringers. If you believe that an account holder or subscriber is a repeat infringer, please follow the instructions above to contact 4am and provide information sufficient for us to verify that the account holder or subscriber is a repeat infringer.
Claims of Copyright violation by Vamooz
Content Providers who believe Vamooz violates their Copyright, can get in touch with 4am by email by sending an email to 'vamooz-copyright-violations@4am.co.in'. Such communication should include the following:

1. Name of Content Provider

2. Location of head office of Content Provider

3. Reasonable proof to show that Vamooz is in violation of copyright

4. SPECIFIC instances wherein Vamooz is in violation of copyright
On receiving such a complaint 4am will evaluate the validity of such a claim and should 4am find that Vamooz is infact in violation any copyright, 4am will ensure that such content is removed from Vamooz within sixty working days of receiving such a complaint.
Post the removal of Content from a specific Content Provider, Content from that Content Provider might remain on 4am servers. The removal of all such Content will not be default and will done only if explicitly requested. If such a request is received, 4am will take make a reasonable effort to remove all said Content from its servers within 120(one hundred and twenty) working days.
HOWEVER, not withstanding anything aforementioned, should the removal of previously existing data from 4am servers be deemed, by 4am, as excessively expensive / difficult, the party requesting such removal will be required to bear the expense of such removal, as determined by 4am.
